The Lior Bias Skirt

The Lior Bias Skirt is one of those pieces that makes getting dressed feel effortless. Designed to coordinate perfectly with our Rope Neck Top and Eden Shoulder Pad Blazer, it creates a beautifully polished outfit whilst remaining versatile enough to style more casually with a simple white T-shirt and your favourite sandals or trainers.

When designing this skirt, I wanted to create a silhouette that felt elegant without being restrictive. The bias cut allows the fabric to move beautifully with the body, creating a soft drape that skims rather than clings. It's a shape that works across a variety of body types and creates an effortless sense of movement when worn.

The elasticated waistband was a very deliberate addition. Not only does it provide comfort throughout the day, but it also gives you flexibility over where you choose to wear the skirt. Whether you prefer it sitting at your natural waist or slightly lower on the hips, the waistband allows you to adjust the fit to suit both your shape and your preferred styling.

A concealed side zip ensures a smooth fit through the waist and hips, whilst the carefully positioned back split allows for ease of movement without disrupting the clean lines of the skirt.

For me, this is exactly the kind of piece every wardrobe benefits from. Elegant enough for occasions, comfortable enough for everyday wear and endlessly versatile depending on how you choose to style it.

Crafted from a premium blend of linen and viscose, the Lior Bias Skirt has been designed to offer breathability, comfort and elegant drape. The linen provides natural texture and airflow, whilst the viscose adds softness and fluidity, allowing the skirt to move beautifully with the body.

To help preserve the quality of your garment, we recommend washing inside out on a cold, gentle cycle with similar colours. Reshape whilst damp and allow to air dry naturally away from direct heat and sunlight. Do not tumble dry.

Where required, steam gently or iron on a low setting to remove creasing. As with all linen-rich fabrics, natural creasing is part of the character of the garment and contributes to its relaxed, effortless appeal.

The Lior Bias Skirt has been cut on the bias, allowing the fabric to drape naturally against the body and create a fluid, flattering silhouette. This technique gives the skirt its beautiful movement and softness whilst helping it skim over the body rather than sitting rigidly against it.

The combination of linen and viscose creates the perfect balance between structure and fluidity. The linen provides natural breathability and texture, whilst the viscose softens the fabric and enhances the drape, allowing the skirt to move beautifully as you walk.

The elasticated waistband provides flexibility and comfort, allowing you to adjust where the skirt sits depending on your preferred fit and styling. For most customers, we recommend taking your usual size. However, if you feel proportionally fuller through your midsection, you may prefer to size up for additional comfort through the waist.
