The Luma Rope Neck Top

If I'm honest, this was one of the biggest surprises of the collection.

When we first sampled this top, I wasn't convinced it would work on every shape. In fact, one of the first people to try it was Nikki, one of our project directors, who has a fuller bust and proportionally broader upper body. She immediately assumed it wouldn't suit her. The reality couldn't have been more different.

What we discovered was that the rope neckline draws attention to the shoulders and neckline, whilst the gentle A-line shape skims beautifully over the body. Rather than adding volume, it creates balance, softens the bust line and allows the fabric to drape without clinging through the midsection.

It's one of those pieces that looks deceptively simple but works incredibly hard when you put it on. Lightweight, effortless and easy to style, it's a top that pairs beautifully with several pieces throughout the collection and can be worn on its own during warmer weather or layered under jackets and knitwear as the seasons change.

This is genuinely one of those pieces that you almost have to try to believe.

Crafted from a premium blend of linen and viscose, this fabric has been chosen for its softness, breathability and beautiful drape.

To help preserve the quality of your garment, we recommend washing inside out on a cold, gentle cycle with similar colours. Reshape whilst damp and air dry naturally away from direct heat or sunlight. Do not tumble dry.

Where required, we recommend steaming to refresh the garment and remove creases. If ironing is necessary, iron inside out on a low heat setting.

Due to the natural characteristics of linen and viscose fibres, some pilling may occur over time in areas exposed to repeated friction, such as seatbelts, handbags, outerwear or prolonged rubbing during wear. Following the care instructions and minimising excessive abrasion will help maintain the appearance and longevity of your garment. This is a natural characteristic of the fabric and is not considered a manufacturing fault.

The neckline helps draw the eye towards the shoulders and collarbone, whilst the gentle A-line silhouette creates movement through the body without clinging. The result is a flattering shape that skims over the bust and midsection whilst maintaining a light, effortless feel.

One of the things I love most about this top is its versatility. Whilst many people assume this style only works on certain body shapes, we've found the opposite to be true. In particular, it can be incredibly flattering on those with a fuller bust thanks to the way the neckline and drape help create balance through the upper body.

I would generally recommend taking your usual size. There's no need to size up or down based on your bust, as the shape has been designed with enough drape and ease to work comfortably across different proportions.
