The Riva Dress

When I was designing this collection, I knew I wanted to include a dress that felt effortless from the moment you put it on. The Riva Cheesecloth Dress is exactly that. It’s light, breathable and incredibly easy to wear, whether you’re packing it for holiday or styling it at home throughout the warmer months.

Crafted from beautifully soft 100% cotton cheesecloth, every detail has been thoughtfully considered to create a flattering silhouette across a wide variety of body shapes. The deep V neckline creates a longer visual line through the upper body, making it particularly flattering for women with a fuller bust whilst also helping to balance the proportions of more petite frames who can sometimes feel overwhelmed by longer dresses.

One of my favourite details is the subtle shoulder lip. It creates gentle structure across the shoulders without the need for shoulder pads, helping to form the starting point of an hourglass silhouette whilst maintaining the relaxed feel of the dress.

We’ve also incorporated two side splits, not only to create beautiful movement as you walk, but also to break up the length of the dress. It’s one of those small details that makes such a difference, particularly for petite women, whilst also helping to keep the dress cool and comfortable on warmer days.

For an even more versatile look, I love pairing it with our Cropped Cheesecloth Shirt. Worn open or loosely tied, it creates an effortlessly coordinated outfit that’s perfect from day through to evening.

Crafted from 100% cotton cheesecloth, the Riva Cheesecloth Dress has been designed to feel soft, breathable and comfortable throughout the warmer months.

To help preserve the quality of your garment, we recommend washing inside out on a cold, gentle cycle with similar colours. Reshape whilst damp and allow to air dry naturally. Do not tumble dry.

Where required, iron on a low heat setting or steam gently to maintain the fabric’s natural drape.

Due to the natural characteristics of cotton cheesecloth, slight variations in texture are part of the fabric’s charm and help create its relaxed appearance.

The Riva Cheesecloth Dress has been designed with a relaxed silhouette that skims the body beautifully without clinging. The carefully considered neckline, shoulder detail and flowing skirt work together to create balanced proportions whilst allowing the dress to move effortlessly with you.

Crafted from lightweight 100% cotton cheesecloth, the fabric feels beautifully soft, breathable and airy against the skin, making it ideal for warmer weather. Unlike heavier woven cottons, the natural texture of cheesecloth creates beautiful movement and drape, allowing the dress to feel relaxed whilst still looking elevated.

The white colourway has been thoughtfully lined only through the first tier of the skirt, providing coverage where it’s needed whilst allowing the lower half of the dress to remain cool and breathable. Our Navy and Red colourways don’t require lining, allowing the natural qualities of the cheesecloth fabric to take centre stage.

We recommend taking your usual size. However, if you have a proportionally fuller bust for your frame, we suggest sizing up by one size to ensure the most comfortable fit across the chest whilst maintaining the relaxed silhouette.
