The Arla Cashmere Blend Crew Neck

When I was choosing pieces for this collection, I wanted to include those wardrobe staples that quietly do a lot of heavy lifting. The Arla Knit is exactly that.

It’s the kind of piece I reach for throughout spring and summer when I want something a little more elevated than a T-shirt, but still lightweight and easy to wear. The yarn has been carefully chosen to create a beautiful drape through the body, giving softness without bulk and just enough warmth for cooler mornings and evenings.

I particularly love the versatility of this knit. It works effortlessly with denim, tailoring, shorts or layered over a simple white T-shirt, making it one of those pieces you’ll find yourself reaching for again and again.

As part of this collaboration, we’ve introduced a new signature script embroidery at the back neck. Moving away from Marame’s traditional sans-serif mark, this softer script felt like the perfect reflection of my approach to dressing: effortless, personal and individual.

Crafted from a premium blend of cashmere, wool, viscose and polyamide, this knit has been designed to offer softness, warmth and lasting shape retention.

To help preserve the quality of your garment, we recommend washing inside out on a cold, gentle cycle with similar colours. Reshape whilst damp and dry flat away from direct heat or sunlight. Do not tumble dry.

Where required, steam gently or iron inside out on a low heat setting.

Due to the natural characteristics of cashmere and wool fibres, some pilling may occur with wear, particularly in areas exposed to friction. This is a normal characteristic of premium knitwear and can be easily managed with a fabric comb or cashmere brush.

One of the things I love most about this knit is how different it can feel depending on the size you choose.

I personally wear this style one size up. It creates a slightly softer fit through the body and a more open neckline, which I find particularly flattering if you have a fuller bust, broader shoulders, or simply prefer a more relaxed feel. I also love the way it looks layered over a white T-shirt with just a little of the neckline showing through

If you choose your usual size, you’ll achieve a neater fit through the body with a higher crew neckline. This works beautifully if you prefer a more fitted silhouette or have a smaller bust.

The sleeves have been designed slightly longer than a traditional short sleeve, offering a little extra coverage through the upper arm while maintaining a flattering shape.

My advice? Don’t be afraid to experiment with sizing. This is one of those pieces that can give you two very different looks depending on how you choose to wear it. As always, dress for the shape you have and the fit that makes you feel your best.
